Foundational Stage

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving

Almost all children learn the rules of their language at an early age through regular use. Encouraging group games and activities, especially amongst students of different age groups, not only teaches students how to effectively communicate with their peers, but also nurtures collaboration and discussion.

Integrating with Curiosity and Imagination

Students are given worksheets that supplement their regular class material. These worksheets are designed to encourage students to cultivate a culture of inquiry, thereby sharpening their critical thinking skills. Students are given small projects to complete, and in the process they generate their own questions according to their curiosities or interests, which they then investigate.

Effective Communication and Collaboration

We have integrated technology into the day care program by tapping into students’ interests and strengthening their technical skills, all while providing enriching learning opportunities. To promote creativity, and to encourage them to be comfortable around technology, students are encouraged to occupy themselves with theme based audio-visuals and multimedia programs. A monthly report is sent to all students in the day care.
